EISi is a non-governmental organisation that focuses on the intersection of technology, law and information society. EISi serves as a non-academic centre for research of internet law and intellectual property law. Moreover, we actively fight for rights and freedoms of internet users, consumers and service providers.

Strategic litigations in legal areas of data protection, IT-rights and Intellectual Property
Serving as a “friend of the court” (amicus curiae) in selected lawsuits
Contributing to balanced regulation of Information Society
Organization and support of public campaigns

Running a web portal dedicated to topics of IT-rights
Organizing conferences, seminars and workshops about IT-rights
Protecting from unlawful violations of privacy rights, freedom of expression and right of due process
Protecting from misuse of copyright and industrial property rights
Asserting consumer rights; also in a form of class actions
Raising awareness about consumer contracts and unfair business practices
Raising awareness about correct interpretation of consumer legislation
European Information Society Institute je mimovládná organizácia, ktorá sa zaoberá prienikom technológií, práva a informačnej spoločnosti. EISi pôsobí aj ako neuniverzitné centrum pre výskum internetového práva a práva duševného vlastníctva.
